To run in dual channel mode, order and install memory upgrades in pairs.
While more then 4GB can be installed, the Dell Dimension 9100 will not be able to address any memory installed past the maximum.
This Dimension can reconise both 533mhz and 667mhz modules, however, when mixed the system will run at the slowest speed installed.
If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less. A 64-bit Operating System is required to utilize more than 4GB of memory.
