Systems based on Xeon E5-1600 v3 / E5-2600 v3 Series processors support either ECC UDIMM or RDIMM, with no non-ECC UDIMM support. Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model. MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN FOURS for Quad Channel mode. Although it is physically possible to install more memory, the system will only recognize 128GB maximum.
