Some 4810TZ models were initially limited to 4GB max. On startup, press F2 to enter the BIOS setup screen. Check if your BIOS is version 1.35 or later. For example, if you have version 1.10 you will need to upgrade to version 1.35 or later to support 8GB (2x4GB). A 64-bit version of Windows is also OS required to support configurations over 4GB.
