Only uses the Apple M.2 SSD form the Macbook Air 2012.
Use this case to clone your old SSD to a new SSD. Boot off old SSD in the enclosure (plug in case, restart Mac holding down "Option" key.) Select old SSD. Download and install Carbon Copy Cloner. Clone old SSD to new SSD.
