Apple has made the RAM in the 2018 Mac Mini upgradeable! However this is not an easy upgrade, please watch installation videos first to make sure you are comfortable with this upgrade.

This kit has everything you need to replace the ram.

Torx T5 driver - this tool removes screws that hold the metal RAM shield

Torx T6S driver - this is a security version of the T6. It will work as a standard T6 and a security T6. This tool is required to remove all the internal screws.

Torx T10 L tool - this removes two 7.5mm screws in the logic board

Nylon pry tool - for removing the black circular lid
